Turkish charity delivers food aid in Nigeria

Turkiye Diyanet Foundation (TDV), the charity agency of the country's Directorate of Religious Affairs, has distributed food aid to needy Nigerian families in capital Abuja, a charity worker told Anadolu Agency on Tuesday.
TDV volunteer Oğuzhan Arıcı said the food aid distribution in coordination with Nigerian Muslim Congress would continue for the next three days in different parts of the West African nation.
Arıcı said the food packages contained 10 kilograms of rice, 3 kg of flour, 2 kg of sugar, 5 liters of oil and salt.
The charity would next deliver food aid in Ghana, Arıcı added.
