S. Africa congratulates Erdoğan for reelection

South African President Cyril Ramaphosa congratulated President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan on his success in presidential and parliamentary elections.

"I congratulate the Turkish people and Erdoğan for the successful election process and I wish success to Erdoğan's government in the new period," he said in a congratulatory message.

Also, South Africa-based Awqaf Foundation's chairman Michael Colima issued a congratulatory message on behalf of South African Muslims.

"Turkey has closed a bad era where a coup was possible and successfully processed its election in a way that it can be an example to the entire Middle East. In this election, the Turkish people made a historical participation.

"According to 2017 data, Turkey is the biggest humanitarian aid donor to the oppressed and needy people all over the world. Turkey with Erdoğan's leadership has stood beside the oppressed and the poor so that we are always praying for Erdoğan and we congratulate his success," Colima said.
