UK urges Moscow to explain 'reckless and callous' nerve agent use
Home Secretary Sajid Javid has urged Moscow to explain the use of a nerve agent in Britain, saying the government had received no cooperation since the poisoning of a former Russian double agent and his daughter in March.

Britain's interior minister said Thursday Russia should explain itself after a couple fell ill from exposure to a Soviet-made nerve agent near a town where a former Russian spy was poisoned with the same substance.
"It is now time that the Russian state comes forward and explains exactly what has gone on," Sajid Javid told parliament, repeating the government's accusations of Russian involvement in the poisoning earlier this year that Moscow has firmly denied.
UK TO CONSIDER FURTHER ACTION IF RUSSIA BEHIND POISONING
Britain will consider what further action it should take against Russia if it is proven that the Kremlin was responsible for the nerve agent poisoning of two Britons, interior minister Sajid Javid said on Thursday.
"We don't want to jump to conclusions but if it is established that the Russian state is entirely responsible for this as well, then of course we will be considering what further action we can take," Javid told parliament.
