Turkish football clubs launch campaign for ailing youth

Turkey's biggest football clubs Beşiktas, Fenerbahçe and Galatasaray launched an aid campaign for Kaan Aydın, a Turkish youngster who has been suffering from epilepsy disease for the last 17 years.

In a Twitter post, Fenerbahçe underlined that Aydin needs a total of 150,000 Turkish Liras ($31,000) to have a much needed surgery.

The hashtag #KaanHayatBekliyor (Kaan waiting for his life) trended on Turkish Twitter.

Beşiktaş and Galatasaray also shared Fenerbahçe's post, which includes bank account details that is allowed by the Istanbul Governorate to be opened for Aydın's surgery funding.

Aydın -- who is from northwestern Tekirdağ province -- has been receiving treatment in Istanbul's Yeditepe University recently. His family cannot afford the necessary money for the surgery.

Beşiktaş, Fenerbahçe and Galatasaray are all in this campaign to be hope for Aydın.
