Two people were killed and eleven others injured in a shooting in Jacksonville, Florida on Sunday during a video game tournament, police said.
The incident took place in the Jacksonville Landing area, a shopping and dining complex located along the St. Johns River.
In a news conference, Sheriff Mike Williams said: "There were nine victims transported by JFRD [Jacksonville Fire and Rescue Department] to area hospitals.
"There were two additional gunshot victims that self-transported themselves to local hospitals," said Williams.
The gunman, identified as 24-year old Davit Katz from Baltimore, Maryland took his own life following the shooting, he added.
Earlier, he said there was no additional suspect in the area.
In February, a former student armed with an assault-style rifle killed 17 people at a high school in Parkland, Florida.
