France has extradited a suspected person of supporting the PKK terror group to Germany.
The 31-year-old, detained in mid-July in France, has been accused of unlawful detention, assault and coercion, prosecutors said Tuesday.
The man was transferred on the basis of a German and European arrest warrant and taken into pretrial detention.
The man's detention is connected to the June arrest of three men and one woman suspected of kidnapping a former PKK member in the area of Stuttgart and threatening him with death if he did not continue to work with the terror group.
The PKK is designated a terrorist organization by Turkey, the US and the European Union.
