Rescue helicopter crashes in UAE, all crew members killed
A rescue helicopter crashed in United Arab Emirates (UAE) on Saturday, killing all of the crew, according to UAE official news agency WAM. The helicopter was conducting search and rescue operation in Jabal Jis area in the Emirate of Ras Al Khaimah, the report said. The ruler of Ras Al Khaimah, one of the seven emirates that make up the UAE, ordered an investigation into the crash.

Authorities in the United Arab Emirates said that a rescue helicopter crashed in Ras Al Khaimah on Saturday, killing all crew members on board.
The plane was on a rescue mission in the Jebel Jais mountainous area of Ras Al Khaimah, the country's General Civil Aviation Authority said.
No details about the number of dead or the cause of the crash were provided.
The ruler of Ras Al Khaimah, one of the seven emirates that make up the UAE, ordered an investigation into the crash, according to official WAM news agency.
Local online newspaper Gulf News reported that the crash happened when the helicopter crashed into a zip line in the mountain, killing four people. Three were UAE nationals and one was a foreigner.
The aircraft was headed to airlift an injured man from Jebel Jais, but it crashed before reaching the man, Gulf News reported.
Jebel Jais, the highest mountain in the UAE, is home to the world's longest zip line.
