Turkey's fight against Daesh terror group in January

A total of 36 Daesh suspects were remanded in custody while some 87 others were arrested for their alleged links to the terror group across Turkey in January.
Turkish security forces continued their long-running nationwide campaign to thwart Daesh attacks.
A total of seven suspects were remanded in custody in southern Adana province.
Murat Yerlikaya, who came from France to Turkey, was remanded in custody after he was held in the central Kayseri province for being in preparation of an attack in new year.
A court in Kayseri remanded foreign national Aierken Abuduwaili in custody. Abuduwaili was arrested for allegedly trying to reach the conflict regions in Syria.
A total of 40 Daesh suspects were arrested during the operations carried out in the provinces of Sakarya, Elazığ, Gaziantep, Batman and Samsun. Two of them were remanded in custody and 13 of them were deported.
Separately, a total of 18 people were arrested for their alleged links to Daesh during the anti-terror operations held in Tekirdağ, Hatay, Samsun, Kayseri and Karabük provinces. Fourteen of them were remanded in custody, two of them were deported and two others were released under judicial control.
Two people were remanded in custody after having been arrested in an operation in the southeastern Kilis province.
Moreover, a total of 12 suspects -- who were in the red and blue category of the Interior Ministry's wanted list -- were arrested by anti-terror team of police in the western Bursa province.
The wanted list is divided into five color-coded categories, with red as the most wanted, followed by blue, green, orange and grey.
One suspect was remanded in custody in the southeastern Sanliurfa province during an operation against Daesh.
Another Daesh member was given six-years-three-months in prison.
