US President Donald Trump is the twin of Russian leader Vladimir Putin, New York City mayor Bill de Blasio says, amid a Twitter spat between Trump and London mayor Sadiq Khan.
De Blasio tweeted that "Trump is Putin's twin, only his presidency will be shorter."
He responded after Trump said Khan is "the twin of de Blasio except shorter" and called London's first Muslim mayor "a stone cold loser."
De Blasio is campaigning for the Democratic nomination in the 2020 US presidential election, potentially pitting him against Trump.
