Turkey's Chief of General Staff Gen. Yaşar Güler on Friday backed Bosnia and Herzegovina's Euro-Atlantic integration, officials said.
Güler arrived in the capital Sarajevo earlier today and met Bosnia and Herzegovina's Deputy Minister of Defense Sead Jusic.
The Turkish military chief pointed to the importance of adherence to the cooperation agreement signed in 2017 between the two countries, the Defense Ministry said in a statement.
Meanwhile, Jusic said that Turkey is one of the most important supporters of Bosnia and Herzegovina's Armed Forces.
The statement added that the parties agreed that the two countries should strengthen cooperation in the field of defense.
Güler also met with Chief of General Staff Lieutenant General Senad Masovic at the historical Army House.
