1 killed, 10 injured in attack at vocational college in Finland
At least one person was killed and ten others injured in an incident in the eastern city of Kuopio in Finland on Tuesday, according to local media reports.

One person died and 10 people were injured in a "violent incident" at a vocational college in the eastern Finnish town of Kuopio, with the suspected attacker among the injured, police said Tuesday.
"Officers used firearms during the situation. Police have detained one perpetrator. The injured have been evacuated," East Finland police said in a statement, while media reports said the assailant was armed with a sword.
"According to current information, the incident in Kuopio occurred at the premises of the Savo vocational school located in the Herman shopping center," a police statement said.
The college also confirmed that a serious incident occurred on the premises.
Police detained one person by opening fire and several people injured in the incident were taken to a hospital, according to the report. Two of the wounded were seriously injured.
A sword-like knife was used in the attack, eyewitnesses said.
The local hospital was warned about a major incident.
