Kazakh airline Air Astana is suspending flights to and from as well as over Russia for the time being, the Russian news agency TASS reported, citing a company statement.
The suspension is due to a lack of insurance cover for commercial flights to and from the Russian Federation.
The airline hopes to solve the problems with the Kazakh government so that it can resume flight operations again soon.
