Joe Biden honors late UAE president Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al-Nahyan as 'true partner' of United States

President Joe Biden paid tribute to United Arab Emirates President Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al-Nahyan, who died aged 73 on Friday, saying he "was a true partner and friend of the United States."
"We will honor his memory by continuing to strengthen the longstanding ties between the governments and people of the United States and the United Arab Emirates," Biden said.
