Thirteen inmates were killed in a fight between inmates in an Ecuador prison on Monday, AFP has reported, citing the officials.
There were also two injured, the report added.
"Unfortunately, central command reports 13 (inmates) dead and two injured," the South American country's prison authority SNAI said on Twitter.
The incident took place in the same prison where 44 inmates were killed in a bloody brawl in May.
