Blinken tells China need for 'peace and stability' in Taiwan Strait

US Secretary of State Antony Blinken on Friday told Chinese Foreign Minister Wang Yi of the need for "peace and stability" over the Taiwan Strait.
Blinken "stressed that preserving peace and stability across the Taiwan Strait is critical to regional and global security and prosperity," State Department spokesman Ned Price said.
