Three people were killed and one woman was seriously injured in an explosion at a large arms factory in the central town of Kanzanlak, Bulgarian media reported on Tuesday.
A dark cloud of smoke was briefly visible after the powerful explosion at the plant, according to Bulgarian state radio.
An investigation is underway, but the cause of the explosion is currently unknown.
