Outgoing Prime Minister Yair Lapid said Tuesday Israeli soldiers "will not be interrogated" by the FBI over the killing in May of Palestinian-American Al Jazeera journalist Shireen Abu Akleh.
Israeli "soldiers will not be interrogated by the FBI or any other foreign body or state, friendly as it may be," Lapid said in a tweet, after reports that the FBI has launched a probe into the killing.
