Financial crime watchdog suspends Russia over Ukraine war
The Financial Action Task Force, an anti-money laundering group, said on Friday that it has suspended Russia's membership. "The Russian Federation's actions unacceptably run counter to the FATF core principles aiming to promote security, safety, and the integrity of the global financial system," it said.

Global financial crime watchdog Financial Action Task Force (FATF) on Friday suspended Russia's membership, saying Moscow's war in Ukraine violated the body's principles.
"The FATF has decided to suspend the membership of the Russian Federation," the Paris-based group, which deals with money laundering and terrorism financing prevention said in a statement.
"The Russian Federation's actions unacceptably run counter to the FATF core principles aiming to promote security, safety, and the integrity of the global financial system", it added.
