Erdoğan to Israel: "Security cannot be achieved by killing children" | "Peace cannot be attained through cruelty"
"Expanding attacks on Gaza will bring nothing but more pain, death, and tears. By murdering children, women, and civilians, it is clear that security cannot be ensured by bombing hospitals, schools, mosques, and churches. Peace cannot be achieved through cruelty. Instead of rectifying its mistakes and acting with the rationale of a state, the Israeli administration is behaving as if it were an entity incited by non-regional actors," Erdoğan stated in a social media post on Friday.

In his statement on social media, Erdoğan made the following remarks:
"Expanding attacks on Gaza will bring nothing but more pain, death, and tears.
By murdering children, women, and civilians, it is clear that security cannot be ensured by bombing hospitals, schools, mosques, and churches. Peace cannot be achieved through cruelty.
Instead of rectifying its mistakes and acting with the rationale of a state, the Israeli administration is behaving as if it were an entity incited by non-regional actors.
Our region urgently needs to be rescued from this madness, fueled by Western countries and legitimized by Western media organizations.
I invite all states and international organizations to wholeheartedly support the efforts to establish a humanitarian ceasefire in Gaza as soon as possible.
I reiterate our call to the Israeli administration to refrain from expanding the scope of its attacks against civilians and to immediately halt its operations, which amount to genocide.
We believe that our region can achieve lasting stability by establishing new mechanisms that guarantee the safety of Muslims, Jews, Christians, and everyone residing in these lands.
Türkiye will continue to play its role in preventing further innocent bloodshed, averting humanitarian tragedies, and resolving the conflicts in Palestine before they reach a point of no return."
