Türkiye's Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan met with his Hungarian counterpart Peter Szijjarto in Kazakhstan's capital Astana, the Turkish Foreign Ministry said.
The talks took place on the sidelines of the meeting of the Council of Foreign Ministers of the Organization of Turkic States (OTS) in Astana.
No further details were provided about the meeting.
Earlier, Fidan said the Turkic world is increasingly institutionalizing and deepening its cooperation, according to Turkish diplomatic sources.
The OTS, formerly called the Turkic Council, was established in 2009 as an intergovernmental organization made up of prominent independent Turkic countries that work together to elevate relations and union among themselves.
Its members are Türkiye, Azerbaijan, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan and Uzbekistan, while Hungary, Turkmenistan and the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus have observer status.
