North Korea on Thursday criticised the recent visit to South Korea by top U.S. defence officials, saying the United States and its allies are raising tensions in the region, state media reported.
In a statement carried by the KCNA news agency, a spokesperson for the North's defence ministry said Pyongyang will secure its interests through more "aggressive" responses to what it called "evolving military threats" by the United States and its allies.
