Ukraine aims to conduct counter-offensive actions in 2024, top commander says

The Ukrainian military will conduct work to stabilize the frontline and aims to form units for counter-offensive action later this year, a top military commander said on Wednesday.
Oleksandr Pavliuk, the recently appointed ground force commander, said in televised comments that Ukraine's task was to regroup forces in order to create units "and conduct counter-offensive operations this year".
