The leader of Portugal's far-right party Chega said his party had scored an "absolutely historic" result in Sunday's general election after exit polls indicated it had doubled its score,
"We want to give Portugal a stable government. We are available to build a government in Portugal," said Andre Ventura after an exit poll for state television RTP suggested the party had captured 14 percent to 17 percent of the vote.
