A senior Ukrainian presidential official said on Wednesday there was "cautious hope" that China would take part in a first Ukrainian-led peace summit that Kyiv hopes will be held in Switzerland this spring.
"The recent visit of the Chinese special representative gives cautious hope that China will also participate in this process," presidential chief of staff Andriy Yermak told a news conference.
