The United States on Friday pointed the finger at Russia for a series of "malicious" cyberattacks against European countries including Germany and the Czech Republic, according to the State Department.
"The United States strongly condemns the malicious cyber activity by Russia's General Staff Main Intelligence Directorate (GRU), also known as APT28, against Germany, Czechia, Lithuania, Poland, Slovakia, and Sweden," spokesman Matthew Miller said in a statement.
