Russia on Thursday blasted an "attempted military coup" in Bolivia and warned against "destructive foreign interference" in the South American country.
"We strongly condemn the attempted military coup ... we express our full, unwavering support for the government of President Luis Arce," Russia's foreign ministry said in a statement after two Bolivian army leaders were arrested for what Arce said was an attempt to overthrow his government.
