39,897 Palestinians killed in Israel's offensive on Gaza since Oct.7 - ministry
The health ministry in Hamas-run Gaza said Monday that at least 39,897 people have been killed in the war between Israel and Palestinian resistance movements, now in its 11th month. The toll includes 107 deaths in the previous 48 hours, according to ministry figures, which also list 92,152 people as having been wounded in the Gaza Strip since the war began.

At least 39,897 Palestinians were killed and 92,152 injured in Israel's genocidal military offensive on Gaza since Oct.7. the Gaza health ministry said in a statement on Monday.
In the last 48 hours, some 107 Palestinians were killed. An Israeli airstrike on a Gaza City school compound housing displaced families killed around 100 people, the Gaza Civil Emergency Service said on Saturday.
