Scholz on Chinese war games: assume nobody will try to change situation by force

German Chancellor Olaf Scholz on Monday commented on China's decision to conduct war games near Taiwan, saying that he assumes "that nobody will try to change things by force."
"It is also always clear to us that we assume that nobody is trying to use force to change the situation between Taiwan and (China), which does not prevent us from monitoring things closely," he said in Berlin.
