Putin, Erdoğan discuss trade, economic cooperation in phone call: Kremlin

Russian President Vladimir Putin and Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan spoke by phone and discussed bilateral cooperation on trade and the economy, the Kremlin said on Sunday.

A number of international topics were also touched upon, the Kremlin said.

Türkiye to persist in contributing to peace process

Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan told his Russian counterpart Vladimir Putin over phone that his country will continue to contribute to peace processes, Türkiye's Communications Directorate said in a statement.

During the conversation, the two leaders also discussed bilateral ties, regional and global issues. Erdoğan underscored that Türkiye maintains its efforts to end tensions in the region.

Erdoğan said their goal is aimed to enhance cooperation in many spheres, particularly expanding bilateral trade volume.
