Israel's military said on Monday four of its soldiers had been killed in fighting in southern Lebanon.
The army said they "fell during combat", without providing further details on the incident.
Lebanon's health ministry said on Saturday that Israeli strikes on two southern villages had killed six people in the latest potential challenge to a fragile ceasefire between Israel and Hezbollah that has been in place for less than two weeks.
