Toppled Syrian regime forces ambushed transitional government troops at Latakia

Three people were killed and another wounded Saturday in an ambush by forces of the ousted Assad regime against interim government forces I Latakia province in Syria, according to security forces.
Interim government forces conducting security sweeps in the province, which is known as the stronghold of the ousted Bashar al-Assad family for years, were attacked in the Jabla district.
Interim government forces sent reinforcements to the region to find the attackers.
