Turkish army to resume anti-terror operations against PKK if disarmament promise not kept: Erdoğan
President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan warned on Saturday that the Turkish army would restart military operations against the bloody-minded PKK terror group unless the disarmament promise given was heeded. "We will keep on our ongoing operations ... until we eliminate the last terrorist," Erdoğan told a Ramadan fast-breaking dinner in Istanbul.

President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan said on Saturday Türkiye would resume operations against the bloody-minded PKK terror group if the process of disarmament is stalled or promises are not kept.
Erdoğan was speaking at an event in Istanbul on the first day of the Muslim holy month of Ramadan.
In an address to the relatives of people killed or wounded in PKK attacks, Erdogan assured that there was nothing in the initiative "that would disturb the sacred spirits of our martyrs".
Erdoğan said Türkiye would be the winner, as well as "our children, the guarantee of our bright tomorrows".
The Turkish leader warned, however: "We always keep our iron fist ready in case the hand we extend is left hanging in the air or bitten."
That was an implicit reference to the PKK, listed as a "terror" group by Ankara and its Western allies.
