A Russian missile strike on the north-eastern Ukrainian city of Sumy has killed several people, according to local authorities.
Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky said initial reports indicated "dozens of dead and injured" in the attack, which took place on Sunday morning.
The ballistic missile strike hit streets, residential buildings, an educational facility and multiple vehicles just as people were heading to church for Palm Sunday before the Easter holiday, Zelensky wrote on Telegram.
The exact number of casualties was still unclear at the time of reporting.
Images shared from the scene showed burning cars and widespread destruction across the area.
Sumy has come under frequent attack since the start of the war.
Ukraine has been defending itself against Russia's full-scale invasion for more than three years.
