An earthquake of magnitude ‍6.39 ‌hit the ‍Papua New Guinea region on Tuesday, the German Research Centre for Geosciences (GFZ) said. The quake was ‌at a depth of ‍106 ‍kilometers (65.9 miles), ‍GFZ said.
