Iran president tells UN his country 'victims of terrorism'

Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian said at the UN on Wednesday that his country had been a victim of terrorism, disputing US President Donald Trump's earlier accusation that Tehran was guilty of committing such crimes.

"We have been the victims of terrorism. I come from an Iran in which our esteemed supreme leader was assassinated without any legal framework or reason. I come from an Iran where, in truth, they bombed a school," Pezeshkian said to world leaders gathered at the UN.
