President Donald Trump on Saturday predicted that the US and Cuba will reach an agreement, and added that he does not think military action will be necessary.
"I would say that Cuba and us will make a deal," Trump told reporters at the White House.
Trump said on Saturday that he had spoken with Venezuelan President Delcy Rodriguez about elections.
Speaking with reporters at the White House, Trump also said he wants to open Cuba up to Americans.
