Turkish Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan held a phone conversation with his Malaysian counterpart Zambry Abdul Kadir on Monday, as the duo discussed the ongoing Israel-Palestine conflict, Turkish diplomatic sources said.
No further details were shared of the phone call.
The Israeli army on Friday widened its air and ground attacks on the Gaza Strip, which has been under relentless Israeli airstrikes since the surprise offensive by the Palestinian group Hamas on Oct. 7.
Over 9,800 people have been killed in the conflict, including 8,306 Palestinians, mostly children and women, and more than 1,538 Israelis.
