Masterpieces amid nature: Van Gogh's final artistic frenzy in Auvers-sur-Oise inspires millions

Dutch painter Vincent Van Gogh painted about 80 works in about two months in the village of Auvers-sur-Oise in France, where he died.

On May 20, 1890, Van Gogh moved into room number 5 at the Ravoux Inn in Auvers-sur-Oise, which had a small window and an area of only about 7 square meters (75 square feet).
