The wetland, one of Türkiye's important migration routes, has been hosting numerous bird species such as gulls, coots, and herons since the first days of March. Located where the Asi River meets the Mediterranean Sea, the area stands out as a critical stopover for birds on their migration route. Milleyha Wetland, where more than 300 bird species have been observed, is among the important areas for nature lovers and birdwatchers.
