Pro-Palestinian demonstrators said it was "unfair" for Netanyahu to speak at the UN, given his continued aggressive policies against Gaza, the occupied West Bank, and other countries in the region.
Demonstrators, who were not allowed near the UN Headquarters citing security concerns, gathered at the intersection of 1st Avenue and 39th Street in Manhattan.
The crowd of hundreds of activists chanted in unison, "No to war, no to arms, freedom for Palestine" and "Netanyahu, you can't hide, we will prosecute you for genocide."
