Research on Eastern faults started

The earthquakes occurring in Erzurum and the surrounding provinces have prompted the Mineral Research and Exploration Institute into action. MTA has recommenced research efforts along the fault lines in the region. As a result of these studies, an update to the region's fault line map is anticipated.
