Stargazers across world fascinated by partial solar eclipse, last one of 2022

The second and last solar eclipse of the year took place on Tuesday. Skywatchers across the world were able to observe this incredible celestial event with materials such as camera films, X-ray films or welding masks.

Explaining that this celestial event is caused by the Moon's disc being in front of the Sun's disc, Yılmaz said, "Thus, the Moon covers a part of the Sun that we see in the sky, and we feel the sun's light a little less. The reason why this event is called a partial solar eclipse is because the entire solar disc is not covered." said.
