As a strong reflection of this understanding, The Bodrum EDITION offers its guests an inspiring art route with selected works in different areas of the hotel. This project, brought to life in collaboration with VISION Art Platform, brings together the works of Mairead McClean and Koray Tokdemir, known for his interdisciplinary productions, with the unique atmosphere of Bodrum. The exhibition of the works at The Bodrum EDITION was celebrated with a special cocktail attended by the artist Koray Tokdemir, followed by a dinner at DAHA Mehmet Akdağ. The evening, which brought together art, gastronomy, and hospitality in the same experience, also reflected the hotel's approach of combining culture and lifestyle. Mairéad McClean invites viewers to reflect on memory, identity, history, and media representation in her works produced in various disciplines such as film, video, sound, and photography; she draws attention with her powerful visual language that combines personal narratives with collective memory. Koray Tokdemir, on the other hand, explores the relationship between existence, time, and matter in his interdisciplinary practice that brings together art, architecture, philosophy, and science. His works, which combine physical and digital production processes, invite the viewer to question the unseen and to think from different perspectives.
