Galatasaray fans organized a special choreography to commemorate the 100th anniversary of the Republic of Türkiye during the derby.
"We established the Republic" and "1923-2023" were showcased on banners unfurled in the East and North stands.
Alongside Atatürk's silhouette, the choreography also featured iconic football players from the yellow-red club, including Metin Oktay, Bülent Korkmaz, Okan Buruk, and the Nobel Prize-winning Turkish scientist, Prof. Dr. Aziz Sancar.
On the opposite tribune, there was a banner that read, "Republic Forever."
