33,000 space lovers participated in the first live broadcast from Mars thanks to an operation carried out by the European Space Agency (ESA).
In celebration of the 20th anniversary of the Mars Express mission, the entity offered an image every 50 seconds from the visual monitoring camera on board the Martian orbiter, located more than three million kilometers from Earth.

The live broadcast from the red planet proved to be an unprecedented success, providing viewers with some of the most important moments of the space mission: from the rover's landing on the surface of Mars to the first high-resolution panoramas.
In addition, the experts were in charge of providing live comments that were key to contextualize, as well as answering some questions from the audience.
It should be noted that the images were captured by a device that, in principle, was not designed to carry out observation missions on Mars.
Rather, it was an old camera, originally intended for engineering purposes; which caused some nervousness among those responsible for the livestream.
