In Malatya, dried tomato production launched to increase product diversity and add value to the economy is becoming more widespread. Tomatoes grown in the Akcadag district are harvested from the fields early in the morning during the final days of summer. After being washed and sliced, the tomatoes are left to dry naturally under the sun and are then shipped across Türkiye after processing.
