Excavations in eastern Türkiye reveal traces of life dating back 7,000 years

At Pulur Höyük in the Aziziye district of Erzurum, ongoing excavations directed by Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan have revealed stone architectural remnants, fixed hearths, grain silos, kilns, and pottery workshops dating back 7,000 years.

"During the excavations at Pulur Höyük, we have identified traces of settled life dating back 7,000 years," Dr. Rabia Akarsu, the head of the excavation works, told Anadolu.
