Excavations in eastern Türkiye reveal traces of life dating back 7,000 years

At Pulur Höyük in the Aziziye district of Erzurum, ongoing excavations directed by Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan have revealed stone architectural remnants, fixed hearths, grain silos, kilns, and pottery workshops dating back 7,000 years.

Akarsu said that they have been working with a team of 15 people, including scientists from various universities, as well as students and workers, since August.
