In Kağıthane's Çağlayan neighborhood, citizens were walking on the sidewalk. Suddenly, stones started raining down from the third floor of a building. Two people were injured. Bewildered citizens panicked and scattered in all directions. A woman with a child was slightly injured in the arm, and a young person was lightly injured in the head. The horrifying moments were captured by security cameras. Upon reporting the situation, health and police teams were dispatched to the area. The teams arrived quickly and after providing first aid, they transported the injured individuals to the hospital by ambulance. It was learned that the condition of the injured was good. Meanwhile, the police conducted an investigation into the incident and cordoned off the area for security. Municipal teams entered the building and investigated the reason behind the falling stones. The examination revealed that there was a slight vibration in the part where the air conditioner motor was installed, resulting in the stones getting detached and falling down. Following this discovery, the area where the stones fell was surrounded by iron barriers, and further investigations began. Cevat Adin, who witnessed the incident, said, 'I was waiting right at the entrance when stones fell from the upper part due to the vibration. One hit someone's head, and the other hit another person's arm. Panic ensued, and they were very scared. The woman was in shock. I was scared too; I barely escaped.'
