Moment of explosion at factory in Türkiye’s Balıkesir captured on camera

Security camera footage has emerged showing the moment of the explosion at the ammunition factory in the Karesi district of Balıkesir, which resulted in the deaths of 11 workers and injuries to 7 others.

Farm worker Ramazan Akkoyun, stating that he was at home during the explosion, said, 'It was a very violent explosion, the windows shook. I looked toward the factory. When I stepped out onto the balcony, I told my wife, 'The factory is on fire.' Then, as people gathered, we realized what had happened.'
